As you may have read, as we prepare for this year's Get on the Bus for Human Rights, we have been sampling the cuisines of the cultures at the center of our human rights actions. Before we hit the streets of New York to demand respect for human rights and an end to the gold mining industry's exploitation of both the people and the land in Guatemala, we will be celebrating Guatemalan food and culture closer to home.This Sunday, we will meet for dinner at Mi Tierra, a Guatemalan and Salvadoran restaurant, in Waltham, MA. Please join with members of Amnesty International Local Group 133 this Sunday evening, April 5th, at 5 p.m. for a delicious dinner.
