Sudan Vigil
On Tuesday, March 26, 2013, the Refugee Action Team held a candlelight vigil in Davis Square, Somerville. This was a great way to prepare for our action on April 5. We raised awareness about Human Rights in Sudan, specifically the Darfur, South Kordofan, Blue Nile and Nuba regions of Sudan. We invited people to our Get on the Bus event to rally for protection for civilians and displaced person in these regions, for the end of bombing of villages and for humanitarian aid to these people. Thanks to all who attended. We really made a difference!
